Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Breuer-Home Limited ("AccentGram", "we", "us") collects when you use the AccentGram mobile application and the accentgram.com website (collectively, the "Service"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or delete it.
If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the Service. We do not sell personal information, do not run third-party advertising, and do not embed tracking SDKs in the app.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide when you sign in
When you create an AccentGram account, you authenticate through Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. We receive a stable identifier from the provider plus, depending on your choices in the sign-in sheet:
- Sign in with Apple: Either your real Apple ID email (if you chose "Share My Email") or a unique private-relay address (
...@privaterelay.appleid.com) that forwards to your real email (if you chose "Hide My Email"). Apple also returns a stable user identifier. - Sign in with Google: Your Google account email and a stable user identifier.
We do not receive your authentication password under either provider.
1.2 Information you create while using the app
- Prompts: The text you type into the terminal to invoke AI tools (for example, the prompt of a
videocommand). - Uploaded inputs: Images or other files you attach as inputs to a tool (such as reference photos for image-to-video).
- Generated outputs: Videos produced by AI tools at your request. These are stored against your account so they appear in your BREW library.
- Visibility choices: Whether a specific video is private (default) or has been published to the public INSPIRATIONS feed.
1.3 Information from in-app purchases
When you purchase a subscription or credit pack, Apple sends us a receipt that includes:
- An anonymous Apple-issued transaction identifier;
- The product identifier purchased (e.g.,
accentgram.credits.31s); - The purchase date and renewal/expiration dates for subscriptions;
- A unique
appAccountTokenwe attached at purchase time, which lets us tie the purchase to your account without Apple revealing your Apple ID to us.
We do not receive your credit card number, billing address, or financial details from Apple.
1.4 Automatically collected operational data
- IANA time zone: Your device's reported time zone (e.g.,
America/Los_Angeles), used to reset your daily video-view quota at your local midnight. - Daily view counter: The number of videos you have viewed today, used to enforce the free-tier 30/day cap.
- Tool job metadata: For each generation, we store the tool identifier, dispatch time, completion status, and a reference to the output video. This is necessary to render the BREW history and to recover from job failures.
- Credit ledger: An append-only record of credit additions (purchases, signup bonus) and deductions (successful generations), tied to your user identifier.
We do not collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), precise location, address-book contacts, calendar data, photo library beyond what you explicitly select, microphone, camera, or biometric data.
1.5 What we do NOT collect
- No analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- No crash-reporting SDKs (no Sentry, Crashlytics, etc.) in v1.0
- No advertising SDKs
- No web cookies on this marketing site (the site is fully static HTML and CSS)
- No location data beyond your device-reported time zone string
2. How We Use Information
We use the categories of information above only to:
- Authenticate your account on sign-in and on subsequent app launches;
- Dispatch your prompts and uploads to the AI model provider that powers the requested tool, and return the result to you;
- Store and display your generated videos in the BREW library;
- Enforce free-tier limits (30 video views per day, etc.) and subscription / credit gating;
- Process in-app purchases and apply credits or subscription status to your account;
- Maintain operational logs needed to debug failed generations and to detect abuse;
- Communicate with you when you contact our support address.
We do not use your prompts or uploads to train any model that we own or operate.
3. Who We Share With
We share information only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service. None of them are advertising or marketing partners.
3.1 Apple
Apple processes your in-app purchases and provides Sign in with Apple. We exchange purchase receipts and authentication identifiers with Apple as part of these flows. See Apple Privacy.
3.2 Google
If you sign in with Google, Google receives a sign-in request from your device. Google sees that your device authenticated for AccentGram and what email address you used. See Google Privacy.
3.3 Volcengine (ByteDance Doubao / ARK)
The text-to-video tool dispatches your prompt to Volcengine's ARK API for generative inference. We send:
- The prompt text exactly as you submitted it;
- The generation parameters (duration, aspect ratio, model);
- A callback URL pointing to our backend so we can receive the rendered video.
We do not send Volcengine your account identifier, email, or any other personal identifier — only a server-internal job UUID. Volcengine's privacy practices govern their retention. See volcengine.com for their policy.
3.4 Tencent Cloud (COS Object Storage)
Generated videos and uploaded inputs are stored in Tencent Cloud Object Storage, located in the Ashburn (Northern Virginia, USA) region. Access is controlled by our self-hosted backend using server-side signed URLs that expire after 1 hour. Tencent Cloud is a storage and bandwidth provider; they do not have application-level access to identify the user behind a file. See Tencent Cloud Privacy.
3.5 Legal disclosure
We may disclose information when required by law, by valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Breuer-Home Limited, our users, or the public.
3.6 No sale of personal information
We do not sell or "share" (as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act) personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your account data — profiles, prompts, video metadata, credit ledger — is stored in a PostgreSQL database we self-host on a server we control, located in the United States. Your generated videos and uploaded inputs are stored in Tencent Cloud Object Storage in the Ashburn (Northern Virginia, USA) region. All data is transmitted between your device and our servers over HTTPS / TLS.
5. Retention
We retain your information for as long as you keep your AccentGram account. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), all of the following are permanently removed from our servers immediately:
- Your account profile and authentication record;
- Every video you generated, including those private to your BREW library and those published to the public feed;
- Every image or other file you uploaded as a tool input;
- Your credit ledger entries, view-quota counters, and tool job history.
Backups of our database may retain deleted records for up to 30 days before being purged. Apple retains purchase receipts according to its own policy, which we cannot override.
6. Your Rights
You can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: See your current account state — credit balance, subscription status, profile email, and BREW library — directly in the app via Settings.
- Deletion: Tap Settings → Delete Account in the app. No support ticket required, no waiting period.
- Correction: Email support@breuerhome.com if any information stored about your account is inaccurate.
- Export: Email us at the same address to request an export of your account data and generated videos. We will respond within 30 days.
6.1 California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what information is collected, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — although, as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for advertising. To exercise these rights, follow the procedure in Section 6 above. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.
6.2 European Economic Area / United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. The legal basis we rely on for processing your information is performance of a contract (the Terms) and our legitimate interest in operating the Service securely. To exercise these rights, email support@breuerhome.com.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe that a child under 17 has provided us personal information, please email support@breuerhome.com and we will delete the information and the account.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:
- TLS / HTTPS encryption for all traffic between your device, our backend, and our storage providers;
- Row-level security policies in our PostgreSQL backend so users can only read and write their own rows;
- Signed URLs with 1-hour expiry for video and image storage access;
- Apple-issued purchase receipts validated server-side with Apple's verifyReceipt service and the App Store Server Notifications V2 webhook (JWS verification pinned to Apple Root CA G3).
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law in the event of a confirmed breach.
9. International Transfers
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
